Partnerships
Global Spotlight considers collaborations that suit its focus on objects, materials, design and craft. Use the Contact page to describe the project, audience and proposed placement; all partner material is labelled clearly.
Possible collaborations
Relevant proposals may include clearly identified articles, reading or object lists, event notices, and contextual links to organisations or products connected with material culture. We consider fit, usefulness to readers and whether the placement can be described without implying independent endorsement.
How placements are labelled
Paid or supported content is marked as a partnership or advertisement where it appears. Labels should be easy to notice, and editorial articles remain separate from partner copy. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable review or control of conclusions.
What to include
Send a concise description of the organisation or project, the subject connection, the format requested and any support or payment involved. Explain what readers would receive from the placement. Proposals go through the Contact page; acceptance is not automatic.
Objects make human choices visible
A handle, seam or hinge is a decision you can inspect. We look at objects as made things, shaped by materials, skills and the ways people use them.
